Let’s face it, evaluation can be intimidating.
More and more, non-profits are being asked to provide evidence of their impact but we know that many non-profits don’t have the time or resources to understand and to use evaluation successfully. That’s where we come in.
Peel Region Evaluation Platform (PREP) is a place online where non-profits can learn more about evaluation and access tools and knowledge-building resources to increase their capacity and confidence to evaluate their work.
PREP is two-year project, delivered in partnership with Peel Counts and Peel Leadership Centre and funded by the Region of Peel. We help non-profits in their quest to understand more about what evaluation is (and isn’t) and what tools and templates are available that can help them plan an evaluation. We also share resources and ways to learn more about data – why its important and how to use it.
Our belief is that data + story = evidence, so we take you beyond the numbers and indicators and into the world of story. As a non-profit sector, we realize that storytelling is a powerful way to share our impact and showcase the meaning our work has on those we serve. For this reason, we also help non-profits find and use stories in their evaluations with some real-world examples of non-profits using story in their evaluation practices.
